It’s not often that the four of us go anywhere for any great length of time at night, but seeing that this particular Saturday was sandwiched between two days of heavy rain, we thought we’d make the most of weather and head to Downtown Disney. When we got to Anaheim, the kids were asleep, which made it a perfect opportunity to run over to Earl of Sandwiches and eat our hot sandwiches in the car (yes, we the two of us ate sandwiches in the car while our kids slept).

When the kids woke up (actually more like, when we finished our sandwiches and our stomachs were happy…) we headed to Downtown Disney to let the kids run around. Inevitably, we stopped at Build-a-Bear and got Little Horse his first B.A.B. Like the great (and tricky) big brother he his, Little Tiger brought both of the dragons he liked and asked his brother which one he preferred. Although that may seem like a thoughtful gesture, Little Tiger really did it to ensure he would get both dragons, as oppose to one dragon and possibly a Paw Patrol dog, or a Star Wars character. Jedi mind tricks is strong with the older one.

Staying true to our selfish foodie binge, Sunday night was more of the same, as we waited for the kids to sleep, before sneaking out to get some Meet Fresh desserts. As I’m happily eating my dessert, I’m sure I thought to myself, “I’m sure the kids wouldn’t of liked it anyways”. We’re such great parents.
