It’s always great when everything goes according to plan (or as Hannibal would say, “I love it when a plan comes together”). We set out for Brookside Park near the Pasadena Rose Bowl early this morning (on time for once), and went to the 22nd Annual Pumpkin Festival outside the Kidspace Museum. Since we arrived just as the festival began, we had our choice of activities without the crazy crowds.

The first thing we did was visit the mini pumpkin patch, only to find out that it was $2 to take pictures with the pumpkins (who does that?). Of course, we managed to sneak a few shots in without paying (haha, sucker).

The rest of the time was spent playing carnival games and then continued with a quick trip to the museum. Now that’s what I call a nice double header!

We had a great time and the kids managed to tire themselves out before we got home. Perfect as perfect can be.
