Although we knew about the Lego Brick Fest last year, the timing just didn’t seem right, as Baby Horse hadn’t yet been accustomed to Legos, and Little Tiger was barely interested. This year, the interest was a bit higher for both kids, and luckily for us, the kids enjoyed themselves (more than we both probably thought they would). Both kids loved being able to walk around, pick up some random Lego pieces, and just starting building.
I was surprised at the amount of people that attended this event, which led me to hope they’d have some nice giveaways, but alas, no giveaways (BTW, I don’t count the hand stamp they give you as you leave the event a giveaway). If we decide to go next year, I’ll remember to bring more snacks (no concession stands) and continue to remember to park at the mall next door to avoid the event parking fees (haha, suckers).
