It was Halloween time last weekend and we certainly made the most of it. We visited the Irvine Railroad Park again this year (we actually made it there in the morning) and took our annual family picture by the pumpkin patch stage. With another year under Baby Horse’s belt, he was definitely more mobile, talkative, and playful as we hustled through the park. The park as it turned out, was just an appetizer for what was to come over the weekend.

With the other family members in waiting, we then set off for our first ever visit to Great Wolf Lodge. We really didn’t know what to expect with two kids and two parents that have never been to a water park (let alone know how to swim), but things couldn’t of gone smoother, with everyone having a blast.

To top off the weekend, we even made it back home to do a little trick-or-treating…Pokemon style.

This kid loves anything that has to do with food
