The plan was to go to Disneyland just in time for the Main Street Electrical Parade and then head back to the hotel to get some much needed rest for the next day, but as luck would have it, we met up with Little Tiger’s friend (who saved us an awesome place in the parade line) and then we all went to ride the Buzz Lightgear ride shortly after the parade.

Baby Horse was the main beneficiary of the parade, as Mickey Mouse came by before the parade started and actually high-fived him.

The next day, we spent the entire day at California Adventure, and took full advantage of our hotel, as we went back for a quick 3-hour nap and returned to play on the nets and to go on the Toy Story ride (which is my new favorite ride).

Seeing that we had a 3-day hopper pass that we weren’t about to let go to waste, our third day was spent back at Disneyland, taking full advantage of the Buzz Lightgear ride (again) and Autotopia, among other cool things.

If you can’t tell by the pictures how much fun the kids had, then the camera couldn’t capture the joy of their faces and their excitement day after day. We’re pretty lucky and we shouldn’t forget it.

Side note: At California Adventures (Day 2), the biggest smiles actually came from people we didn’t know. They loved our matching “villain” shirts and a BUNCH of people asked about them (mainly the husbands…haha).

The only thing that could’ve made the parade better was if I had a cup of hot Starbucks coffee in my hand (alas it was not meant to be).

So much fun at California Adventures…and many cool points for the awesome shirts.

MILESTONE: It didn’t even cross our mind to check Baby Horse’s height, but he was BARELY tall enough to ride all the rides!!! Whew.

Third Disney day after a long weekend and the kids are still happy. Enough said.
